“beautiful, eclectic menue, good service”

beautifully located on the Gilboa mountain, nice wooden house, the pasta is good, the meat ok (no more), good first dishes and desserts, nice wine handling and pricing, total experience worth the travell.

“Enjoy the place, the food, and the taste”

Excellent food, very special place. Food very tasty.

We dislike the size of the dessert. More then a tiny sample then a dish you can call a dessert.

“Very tasty breakfast, beautiful view.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2012

We stopped by the Gilboa Spice Farm, which overlooks the Jezzriel Valley, for their Friday morning breakfast: delicious bread, baked eggplant in a techina sauce , salad, cheeses, scrabbled eggs with mushrooms and spices and shakshuka (poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce). Refills upon request. All fresh, very tasty, and very filling. Service was excellent.
We checked the lunch/dinner menu, and there was a promising mixture of meat, fish, and vegetarian offerings.

“Lovely views, lovely food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2012

On the slopes of Mt. Gilboa, Israel, a perfectly positioned, rustic restaurant. The service is friendly, the food is fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable and the business lunches are well priced, generous and most importantly, delicious. If you visit during winter, you will find lots of wild flowers, some of them endemic, on the hills' slopes. During summer, a great verandah overlooks the Izrael Valley and beyond. A very enjoyable lunch/dinner.
