For years I've heard about Maklot vanille, and only recently did we go there, and needless to say keep coming back. This is a simple restaurant with "simply wonderful food". The pastas are fresh, the sandwiches are extraordinary-made from their freshly baked breads and wonderful ingredients, coffee-terrific. They have their own bakery and make their own icecream, both of which I haven't tasted because I'm on weight watchers. But, the breads, which they do bake, are great. There is never a dull moment in this piece of Israeli nostalgia, and anyone who wants a light meal that does great things in the mouth, should not pass this up.
