You can take Niseko United or Hilton bus to Milk Kobo- it is well worth the visit even in winter! We had the cream choux, milk pudding and ice-cream (caramel and milk flavours) and they were all fantastic. There is also a souvenir shop selling glass and wooden handmade items. Would definitely recommend taking the time out from skiing to check this place out.

I had heard from some friends about this place so I decided do give it a try.
It's not very far from Hirafu and it's really easy to get there by bus.
The place is nice, a bit isolated and with a nice view on the mountain,! The food is really nice and the yogurt incredible! If you have time and you are interessed in good food for a good price don't hesitate!

Everytime we're back in Niseko Milk Kobo is on the 'must-visit' list.

This dairy made it's name during the summer catering to the domestic day tripping trade and they're still one of the biggest summer draws to the region. Thankfully it's far less crowded in the winter when I pop in for one of their staples: a fresh Choux Creme or homemade Icecream. I'm a huge fan of their drinking yoghurt and drink it everyday if I'm in town!

If the weather is good, amazing views of Mt Yotei open up before you. If it's not then poke your head into the very cool little crafty nick knack shop to pick up a souvenir of your Niseko visit.

Milk Kobo's stylish new restaurant 'Prativo' is also worth a mention. Their great value healthy lunches include a veggie buffet and a few desserts (including that yummy drinking yoghurt!) and are truly crazy good value.

The woman who has taken this once ordinary diary and created this little enclave of buildings - each of which in its own right would be a standout attraction - truly deserves mad props.

Pop in for a quick snack from the bakery or ice creamery, relax over lunch in Prativo, or just grab a little take home treat; but whatever you do don't miss Milk Kobo!

We went back to grab some cream puffs and eclairs for the bus ride back to the airport. The cream filling was divine. The kids liked watching the behind the scenes action in the bakery.
