This is a nice hotel in Part, or, actually somewhat out of Part but across the valley and far below the Tigers Nest Monastery. The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable and the food is pretty good, however that can vary somewhat. It's your basic Bhutaneese 3 star hotel.

Stayed at the tigers nest resort for 2 nights with friends after our tour of amazing Bhutan .... ready for the climb to the Tigers nest. Hotel is intimate, has a good feel ... we had heaters in our room and it’s all very cosy. The only issue for me was the ice cold bathroom.... I don’t do ice cold bathrooms unfortunately. But the rest was great. We had lunch on the terrace in the sunshine, and the kitchen staff went out of their way go bring us Some delicious food. ... extra thank you to the chef who made us wonderfull BELGIAN wafles ... they were great !

This resort is about 10 kms from the main city of Paro, located on the main highway. The high point is that you can see the famous Tiger's Nest from the rooms. That's the 12km trek that you want to go for despite the anticipated tiredness. The resort is an old wooden structure with intricate carvings and beautiful paintings. We went in November and it was chilling so do pack enough woolens to keep you warm. The restaurant here serves pure vegetarian food. Staff is super sweet and courteous. Do try the hot stone bath to relax your muscles after the long trek.

Room tip: Ask for Tiger Nest view, or if you aren't interested then go for cottages.

The journey upwards is bit overwhelming at the beginning as you approach the steep inclines. However, it gets better after the first 30 min until you reach the cafe. The steps can get a bit tiring, then you also have the stunning views to keep you motivated. In all it takes roughly a little over 2 hours with few minutes of rest at the cafe. The temple of padmasambava is absolutely amazing and devine. It’s worth the climb even if you don’t believe in Buddhism.

Was little sceptic when I booked the place. But was not disappointed when I checked in there. We booked two cottages and it was nice and cozy. But the bad thing was the bathrooms did not have latest updated fittings. But the food buffet was nice and it was pure veg.
