Located on a hillside above the Paro valley, a few miles from Paro town. The access is along a rather rough road, but once there the views from the hotel are extensive over the fertile valley and the mountains beyond.
The rooms are in separate buildings, adjacent to the reception, dining and lounge areas and there are open paths and steps to access them. The room we had was a large suite and was well fitted out.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was good, but there were very few guests there at that time. The food was also good.
The only negative was the poor layout and access to the buildings and a general lack of ambiance.

The access road is a bit rough but the resort at the end is well wurth the effort.

We only spnet 2 nights there but the standard of accommodation was very high. A very pleasing surprise.

Try the "hot rock" bath but be warned it is the real thing and it is HOT.

Do yourself an act of kindness and go there!
