We ate at Madeline's last night and had a great meal supported by fantastic service. We stopped in early in the afternoon and made reservations for that night with no problems. When we arrived they stated they had a cancellation for a great table and seated us in the back corner, which was very nice and mostly out of the way. It is a little tight in the seating area, and sometimes it does feel like you are having dinner with other guests, especially if they speak louder than normal. The service was great from the host to the waiter. Empty plates left the table just as quickly as they arrived. I had the seafood gumbo, and it was delicious. The menu said it was spicy, and it was plenty of spicy, which I like. My wife enjoyed her stuffed chicken breast as well. The portions of all courses were very good, and we left with some of our dessert in a box because we couldn't stuff any more in. We would definitely return again

We always make it a point to enjoy a meal at Madeline's. The inside is very inviting, parking easy, food great and supported with an extensive fine wine list, The costs are relatively high but the experience well worth it. We highly recommend it. My wife just loves the large pork chop. I have tried several dishes and found them all excellent.

We have been to Cambria 6 or 7 times, but this was the first time we tried Madeline's, and by far we thought this was the best meal we had ever had in Cambria. The duck with a dried cherry and brandy reduction with scalloped potatoes, was sublime. The rack of lamb in a mustard glaze was also excellent. My 20 year old son, who normally does not like lamb, loved the lamb en croute appetizer so much that he asked if we could go to Madeline's again the next night, and he was still talking about it a couple of days later. We also loved the desserts:the chocolate truffle mousse cake was flavorful and moist and we all agreed that the blood orange sorbet was about the most wonderfully intensely flavored sorbet we had ever had.
The service was also excellent: attentive without being hovering. The waiter had very appropriate recommendations for a glass of wine for each of our meals. The atmosphere was also nice: small and intimate, quiet enough that we could converse easily. We will without a doubt make a reservation at Madeline's the next time we visit Cambria.

We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. Started off sitting out in front on the patio sipping our wine and enjoying the cool evening breeze. Dinner was amazing and the dessert was complementary! This is one of our favorite places to celebrate special occasions!

Our dinner here was top notch. The service was impeccable and the food was unbelievable. My husband had the filet and crab cake. Both were cooked to perfection.
