“Ocean front experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2013

My husband and I wanted a romantic overnight on our way home from Santa Cruz and chose the jacuzzi suite, ocean view room. The room was beautiful with the sound of the ocean right out the front door. There is a walkway by the beach that was great for evening and morning strolls and the restaurant next door, Moonstones, had wonderful seafood and both places were reasonable yet elegant.
The wine and cheese offering was nice, though the breakfast could be a little more substantial. Altogether a very nice and romantic stay!

Room Tip: If you have any trouble with steps, the jacuzzi room might be a little difficult to manage. A secon...

Wonderful hotel, excellent room, great beds, facilities, hot tub, very swanky nights stay. Check in was a little lumpy for me, ordering my breakfast I was unsure what to order and how much I would get, obviously the young lad delivers this "spiel" daily and it left us wondering what we would get on our tray. Breakfast was a surprise and very nicely presented, but the smallest bowl of fruit I have been served in USA, doesn't seem to match the quality of all other facilities . Still a great hotel with very lovely rooms and great to look out over the ocean. Next door is also very good for food.

Room Tip: Beautiful location I guess all rooms are great. Some look out over the restaurant next door.

Just stayed there for 3 nights, oceanfront patio with jacuzzi (TUB!) and QUIET!!!
Wow, so great. the breakfast was ok, but the location, room, etc was awesome! Room 300, right in front, made you feel like you had your own cottage on the beach. The bed handsdown was the best we've slept in, and we sleep in a lot of hotel beds! The bathroom left something to be desired, spending $300+ you'd think they'd have upgraded the bathrooms, but at least they were clean. Very very nice, we'll stay there again for sure!

Wow! OMG! This hotel is brilliant. Right on the sea we had a jacuzzi suite with full ocean view. A large room with a double jacuzzi bath. If you hate lounging together in the bubbles watching tv and drinking wine do not stay here. In the afternoon there is a wine and cheese pairing, excellent to get to know your fellow guests. No stinting on the wine either. Room is spotless and a great comfortable bed. Huge separate bathroom with biggest walkin shower I have seen. Excellent very large flat screen tv on the wall. Good coffee maker with capsules. There is also tea capsules. Sliding patio doors open onto patio with table and chairs 50 yards from the sea. What a panorama. Sunsets to die for mist allowing. Plenty of walks to do next to the sea. A variety of bars and restaurants nearby with Cambria village 2 mins drive. One minus point breakfast is a little light, could do with some more options maybe included? Newish owners so maybe this will change. All in all a MUST stay again hotel.

Room Tip: Room 300 or 301 for the best views. Ocean suites to enjoy

First time to stay at the Cambria Landing Inn & Suites. Apparently the Inn just went through a renovation. We had one of the front rooms (#300) and it was wonderful. Had a small patio in front where we could sit in the evening and see the ocean. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. The room had a jacuzzi, a small refrigerator and microwave. It was more expensive than some of the other places to stay on Moonstone Drive, but well worth it. Breakfast is included (okay, nothing special) and a wine reception in the afternoon.

Room Tip: Would suggest Room 300. Great view.

I stayed here at the Cambria Landing Inn and Suites recently, and I could not have picked a better place to stay in Cambria. The whole hotel has clearly been recently renovated, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful and spotless. The beach is literally across the street. Hearst Castle, SLO, Pismo Beach, and other locales are an easy drive from there. A healthy breakfast delivered to your room is included. I would definitely stay here again.

It was a nice little place to stay with a great view, but the room was rather disappointing. Freshly remodeled, well sort of. Closet for a bathroom, with the sink outside. Breakfast delivered was nice touch.

Room Tip: Restaurant next door was great.
