“Pleasant, convenient dinner”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

Our dinners (steak, pork loin, w/ vegetables, potatoes) were great, tasty, well prepared. It was included as part of our travel deal - otherwise we likely would have split our meal - it was plenty of food.

“Yummy Food - Great Perk To A Great Place Already”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

The food is delicious and the folks who work there are super nice and friendly. Good wine selection, a full bar, a lounge, a hot tasty meal and then a walk back to your room....its a flawless victory~!

Great selection of dishes. We were a group of 5 and all tried different entrees and all were excellent. Great Paso Robles wine with our dinner.

“Not recommended”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

I was really dismayed by this restaurant because on the surface, it appears to be a nice place. I made a reservation here because it is the only restaurant in Cambria that is listed on Open Table. There are many other restaurants in the town! My first clue that we were in trouble was the "Fireplace Lounge," where, on a chilly and windy evening, there was no fire in the fireplace. Then when we were seated at our table, we were given a tattered and stained menu. The selections are limited. I chose a grilled salmon, which was overcooked and dry. The vegetables on the side consisted of broccoli and cauliflower--during the peak of the spring farmer's market season! It was a bland and tasteless meal. Service was spotty; all the timing was off and the waiters seemed harried. I suspect there is a management problem here that desperately needs to be addressed.

We're very sorry that you had a bad experience in our restaurant. From lack of a fire in the Fireside Lounge through the end of your meal, we seem to have been unable to fulfill our mission to please every guest. Management and staff will read your review and promise to do their absolute best to make sure that no one ever feels it necessary to write such a poor representation of our restaurant again.
