12 of us had breakfast here and the service was amazing. The food was all delicious - their ollalieberry muffins and jam are really good. Mom loved her crab omelette and the oatmeal was very good.

We returned for dinner and again, everything was delicious. Like many places in California now, portions are not huge, but the macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, caesar salad - it was all great!

There is nothing bad you can say about Linn's Restaurant! The food, the pastries and desserts, the service, the wait staff, the hospitality of this family run business is exceptional. Ate here 2 days in a row, it was so good. Server are all hard working and diligent. They also have a gift shop area in the front of the store which is a world of it's own. You won't be disappointed.

Wife and I ate at Linn's on our recent New Years weekend roadtrip to Cambria. We didn't know any restaurants locally so we just picked based on TA and Yelp reviews. We loved it. Probably not a place for a serious foodie looking for haute cuisine. But if you like good American down home comfort food, I don't think you can find better than Linn's. Wife and I shared the crab cocktaiil. Wife had the seafood pot pie. I had beef stroganoff. We splurged for desert and had the olalliberry pie and the olallieberry cheesecake. Everything was just outstanding melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the portions were huge. Neither of us could finish.

We liked it so much that we went back for breakfast on two subsequent days. Tried the biscuits and gravy, seafood omelette, pancakes and potato stack eggs. All were delicious.

We found the service to be fine for breakfast. Our only complaint at dinner was like someone else noted. They were a little slow to clear dirty dishes, so our appetizer plates were still on the table when they brought the deserts. Mildly annoying but not enough to lessen our opinion of Linn's. We'll definitely be back.

Kind of an upscale diner. Friendly service with good, basic dinner dishes such the pot pies and steaks. They also offer excellent baked muffins/pie from Linn's tasty bakery. However, there are some things are lacking in execution for breakfast. The Huevos Rancheros is not authentic and a bit bland. And the oatmeal. Uggg. They advertise it as 'steel cut'. They are basically rolled oaks, which take about 5 minutes to cook, and are watery and tasteless. It's as if someone who has never eaten oatmeal has put this together, thinking that watery oaks, some sugar and raisons are all it takes. Really? If those are steel cut, then so are my abs! (If only.) Also, disappointed that the juices - orange, grapefruit, lemonade - are not fresh squeezed. I know that this is a way to, forgive the pun, squeeze more profit out of the place, but please give me quality or give me water, which is what I ended up getting.

We stopped here one morning on a road trip from L.A to San Fran...the breakfast was awesome, and what I expect from a traditional American place. We chanced going here as we didn't know the area but we weren't disappointed. Service was typically excellent. Wish the English would learn from you guys!
