“Great flowerpot bread is just the beginning of great food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

Whenever we travel the PCH from LA to San Francisco we always stop in Cambria just so we can eat here. The bread is perfect, I love the pumpernickel while my husband prefers the white. The service has always been attentive and their mains varied and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

“Still as good as always!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

My husband & I hadn't been to The Sows Ear in a while and decided it was about time to see if it was still as good as we remember--and it was! I had a filet with shrimp scampi on top, my hubby had the broiled Salmon in parchment paper. We shared a bit with each other & both were most excellent. We had our wedding rehearsal at The Sows Ear 10+ years ago & the food has not changed.

“"Hungry?"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

The place is just a little gem, you need to look closely because it's not a large space. Usually needing reservations, the menu is plenty large enough to quench any pallot.

“Never again”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

We have eaten there three times before it was pretty good. Tonight worst steak ever! But worst then that they Accused us of eating over half of it so (which we didn't) so they were first going to Charge us for it but then "just" charge us half Bad business! They lost us not for the bad dinner but how we were treated. Never again

“Always Good!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

Come early, it is hard to get in late without reservations. With that said, we have always enjoyed our experience here. Food is always good and service is excellent. The celery soup is the bomb! The braised short rib is my favorite.
