Liked this trail along the cliff, easy to walk with the path. To get to the trail starting point, one need to go through residential internal streets and some GPS have hard time to get you to this trail but other than that liked this relaxing walk along the coast
There is nothing as spectacular as this parcel of land tucked between the residential areas of Cambria. The trails are for all skill levels and the expanse of nature hides all sorts of wonderful creatures from deer to hawks, ground squirrels to red-legged frogs, and much more. There are docent-led walks so you can learn more about the flora and fauna of the area. Open from dawn to dusk every day.
Although many people know about Moonstone Beach, there is an equally impressive area to walk called "Fiscalini Ranch." It is about a mile loop, and from the boardwalk path, there are lots of little trails leading to benches and other lookout points. It's a great place to bring dogs. The views are spectacular with the ragged coast on one side and lush greenery on the other. You can enter the area from a residential neighborhood and park on the street. There are other ways to get to Fiscalini, but I only know about the residential street entrance. No restrooms. I do not believe the trail is wheelchair accessible, but I could be wrong.
Took a hike from town, up across the highway, and up to the ridge. Beautiful day and beautiful view!
There are few walks on this planet more beautiful! And I have traveled extensively! The quirky benches along the way are great if you need a break :)
The Fiscalini Ranch Preserve in Cambria is a jewell on California's Central Coast. It is a nearly 500 acre preserve that offers dozens of hikes, walks and breathtaking views.
The Boardwalk trail is an approximately one mile walk along a gorgeous bluff with dozens of photo opportunities as well as artisan benches to give the visitor a chance to celebrate the majestic beauty of the Pacific Coast. There is a hard-pack trail for bikes, assistance devices, where dogs can run as well as a cross hatch of trails that climb to expansive pastoral overviews of the coast, or wind into Monterey Pine and Live Oak forests and even connect with Cambria's village. Walker, hiker, joggers or biker there is a trail or trails for you offering some of the most magnificent views on the California Coast.
