The Sea Otter Inn is a really cute hotell with a sea cottage theme. The rooms are big, and the king size bed we had was really comfortable. the rooms have a fireplace, which adds to the beach theme of the rooms (very cute rooms!). The rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot for your convenience. the hotel is right across the street from the boardwalk and ocean, so you can sit in the adirondack chairs and just enjoy the view, or easily walk across the street to stroll either the boardwalk or down to the beach. they had a breakfast that was way more than just a continental breakfast: yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, toast, jam/jellies, cream cheese, coffe and juices. The staff were really nice and engaged- you could tell they actually enjoyed talking with tourists. the pool and spa is really nice, too. when we were there, there was beach fog, so the spa was fun to be in.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have an outside space, ours did not, but they do have a common area with chairs to watch the ocean!

Book a room for good deal 69 dollars 1 night and a few hours later was told could not honor rate even though confirmation emailed said that rate. If you see travelzoo ad it just get to get in but not advertise rate. Very poor customer service.

Stayed here in Dec. King bed with small private patio with 2 chairs and 2 tables. Room was good size and layout maximized space. Very clean nice decor. Micro, fridge, and coffee pot with set up was in large closet with glass sliding doors which made for more room in room (great idea). Room had gas fireplace for cozy evenings in cool Dec. Continental breakfast was in office to bring back and enjoy on private patio lots of choices. Fresh patries ,instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogart, lots of cold cereals, fresh fruit, o.j coffee.more choices than most high end motels.Very helpful front staff with seggustions on restraunts in area. Hope to go back soon. Super great deal with TravelZoo.

Room Tip: Get Patio rooms if available

We learned on arrival that pets are not allowed alone in the room, even if created. I feel this should be stated on their web site or via phone reservation. We had to take our dogs everywhere we went, which presents problems when we went for dinner. Since we do not dine at jack in the box, our dogs had to stay locked in or car. It did not feel that pet friendly to me, otherwise a good place. They should change their policy or specifically state this on their web site or via phone as I said previously.

Room Tip: Dont stay here if you have a pet.
