Very interesting guided tour of Nit Wit Ridge. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. So much to see although much of the artifacts have been stolen. It is amazing what someone can do with someone else's "trash"

We visited here for the tour....overall a bit disappointing. Property is quite run down. Can visualize how it might have been once, but would not return.

I visited this site, and it was interesting to say the least. If it were open to the public so you could actually walk into the yard and not feel like an intruder, it might be more of an attraction. There is just not much too it. It takes only a few minutes to see it, then you are done.

This is a funky old home that someone let loose their creative spirit on, if you need to be entertained then you won't care for it, but if you read book, have gone to college, think for yourself, then you will get a little kick walking by. We passed while on a walk into town and came upon it by accident, not expecting anything (expectations are for fools I think) we were able to love it for the serendipity and humanness in a society that has lost touch with being anything other than a consumer of goods. . . let your inner hippie out for a moment and do stop by if you are in the area.

We were excited to see a quirky piece of California history. It was less than a yawn. Just a hillside with a bunch of junk glued to a house. Thankfully, we didn't waste more than five minutes trying to find it. We even climbed the road a bit further just to be sure we weren't missing the real place.
