Nice BIG room, super comfortable bed, easy parking next to your room, walking distance to many great places to eat.
Oh boy. Where do I start? First of all, I think tripadvisor should review some of the outstanding feedback left on this site about this hotel. Some of the positive reviews now strike me as questionable at best. I waited at the front desk for 5 minutes and periodically hollered hello. Finally, Panjay came ambling up the parking lot and checked me in. We were assigned 219 which was a smoking room. Ugh. "Inventory was low. said Panjay. We got to the top of the stairs by our room, and there was some lovely green chunky vomit. We should have turned around but the room had been prepaid. How bad could it be? Only one outlet in the room worked. There were working girls in the parking lot. There was trash all over the property. The room was old and very run down. We woke up after a horrible night on mattresses that seemed to be from 1972. We got to breakfast at 8:30. Breakfast ended at 9 am. It was a bare bones breakfast in a tiny room. There were some stale danishes and cereal. We decided to get cereal. They were out of milk. When we asked, the attendant simply looked at us and picked up the cereal dispensers and walked away with the cereal. There was a grocery store across the street. No one could go buy some milk? If you can't get cereal right then you shouldn't be in business. Really, we are not that picky but this place is not up to Days Inn standards. I was expecting clean basic two star accomodations. This is a 1 star or lower that needs far more staff and overall attention. We were all so stressed out when we left that the entire family ended up in a huge fight. Looking back we all think this place was the initial cause. This place nearly ruined our whole vacation. If I could do it all over again, I would just spend some bucks and do it right. i will also be writing to the corporate Days Inn office and AAA. This property should not have the name or endorsement of either. I am posting some of the pictures from the motel. I will spare everyone the vomit. I will be mailing those to corporate headquaters. Thanks and please don't stay here. It is really really nasty.
Hotel was fine. At check in I found the person lazy and put two charges on card. Left me low on money.
