We have been here a few times with our relatives, who live in Camarillo. They have frequented Ottavio's for decades and have seen the family 'grow up'. So for them the food comes second and the memories first, which is cool.
The food is average, really nothing special and to be honest: overpriced.
The bread is really good though. The salads are absolutely below standard: think salad from a supermarket bag..... but the blue cheese dressing kind of makes up for it.
If you want to see a piece of local history and support locally owned, this is your place. If you want really excellent Italian food, then there are better places!
