i have eaten at Rudy's often and the food is really good. healthier than most Mexican food.
however i ate there last night and ordered a martini. when i got it there was more water than gin. in fact there was so little gin it was more like the thought of gin. i asked the waiter why it was so watered down and he said the bar tender did not make it, but rather "his boss" who i assume was the manager made it. so i told the waiter that i wanted him to ask "his boss" why he watered it down. well needless to say the waiter who was a young guy did not have the courage to ask.
so the complaint remains. maybe the manager is trying to show ownership how inventive and profitable he is. who knows but the bottom line is the guy is cheap and not that smart.
my advice is keep getting the food but don't waste your money on a cheap manager when ordering a drink.
