“Excellent bookstore”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

In addition to the beautiful library Camarillo has an excellent bookstore. Other cities have a Barnes and noble, Camarillo has thebFriends of the Library Bookstore. It is a shop the keeps giving. The books are fairly priced and I can have a cup of coffee while enjoying the books.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

Got to be the most expensive impressive library next to the one in DC. We went in just to print a copy and had to tour the whole thing. Done in Spanish style architecture it was beautiful. I thought I was walking into an exclusive club. I will visit this library on my next trip

“Great resource for inexpensive book purchases!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 19, 2012

Friends of the Camarillo Library has a wonderful book store with bargains to be had. Prices are low, most $2.00 or less and many of the books seem to be new or nearly new. Hardbacks by current authors are in abundance with the dust jackets looking pristine. While you are there, don't miss going into the Library itself even if you don't want library books. The children's room with the pirate motif is very inviting for the younger set. Also check out the mosaics on the walls made with broken china and pieces of tea cups sticking out. This is a very impressive building for the city of Camarillo.

“Wonderful bookstore, beautiful library”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2012

The Friends of the Camarillo Library Bookstore, located next to the library, is a friendly, well-organized, book-filled treat. Prices are low, books are clean, and there is a great selection. Six of us went on an adventure there, we all found a bag full of books apiece. There is a cafe adjacent with tables outside under a shelter. Be sure to explore the library next door with its pirate ship in the children's section, and a Gaudi like bench for adults. The Bookstore provides financial support for the library, and is not to be missed.
