This is a must stay experience. The Cottages are lovely with everything you need, including organic products, robes and slippers. The two person jacuzzi tub was superb. You can walk to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Jole. There is complimentary breakfast and in the early evening cheese and wine tasting. They have bikes to ride too. The service is first rate. There is a cozy feeling with a fireplace, a front porch with rocking chairs and it is quiet. You have your own secluded space. If you are in need, a flat screen TV is within the bar area. They also have a stereo and you can rent movies complimentary. I never turned the TV on once. It is close to wineries, about 15 minutes. It is a special memorable place.

Room Tip: Indian Springs is across the street. The best mud bath ever. If you want to extend your pampering ch...

We recently celebrated our 42nd anniversary at the Cottage Grove Inn..it was everything and more than we had hoped. The setting for the cottages is lovely and our cottage was so private...even though it was Memorial Day weekend it was very quiet and peaceful..as we laid in our comfy bed in the evening we could have heard a pin drop!Such a great respite from our demanding working lives! The breakfast was yummy as well as the wine and cheese.
This was such a specail time for ur as we will return as soon as we can!

Room Tip: Cottage 15 was very quiet

The cottages are charming, and the people who come there are very friendly--maybe it has something to do with the amazing breakfast spread? From made-to-order fruit smoothies and waffles, fresh fruit and yogurts...I could go on and on. The complimentary wine and cheese that starts at 5 is also a social event. The cheeses are delicious (I especially recommend the button goat cheese), and the conversation is inevitably lively. A wonderful option!

The inns were like one bedroom/studio apartments. There were very nice and quiet!! Quite in the best way....the people were all very nice and accommodating. If you looking for a nice quaint hotel to relax and get away but have a nice time this is the place!! We went here for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Wine and cheese every nite with fresh fruits and other drinks too if you aren't a wine drinker. Breakfast had plenty of fresh fruit and granola along with fresh waffles or choice of fresh fruit smoothy!!

Room Tip: no pool or fitness center but bikes available to ride for free.

What can we say ? We had another excellent stay. Terrific comfortable cottage, great breakfast, and superior service. We stayed 4 nights in Cottage 1 which has a very nice quiet seating area. We will be back.

Room Tip: We liked cottage 1 the best thus far.

For my 70th birthday, my daughter and family and friends took my husband and I to the Napa Valley areas to do wine tasting and see all the beautiful scenery. We stayed two nights at the Cottage Grove Inn in Calistoga. What a beautiful prize! Each little Cottage was surrounded by beautiful trees and green bushes, and tall, vine covered bird houses. Wicker chairs/rockers on the porch - you can go there and relax and enjoy. The bed was so comfortable - they had a little bottle of champagne for me waiting in the room. There is a huge/deep spa-type tub in the bathroom, double sinks, very clean, fireplace - with wood to burn, comfy chairs, wet bar. And a fabulous breakfast in the office area - you can eat inside or outside on the big patio with sweet fountains and running water. We couldn't have been treated nicer - and what a very special gift from my daughter. I'll never forget it. And hope to go back to the Cottage Grove Inn soon!!!

Room Tip: They are all good, and quiet.

Eureka! What a find the Cottage Grove Inn was! Seventeen individual cottages line a charming lane covered with a canopy of majestic Siberian elms. Each unique cottage features a front porch with a rocking chair flanked by a garden and ample outdoor seating for relaxation. Water fountains and birdhouses are sprinkled throughout the property. The interior of our cottage was tastefully decorated in soothing colors with wood floors, a real wood burning fireplace (dried oak firewood provided) refrigerator stocked with complimentary bottled water and a bottle of wine, coffeemaker, and extra sink. Every need has been anticipated with comfy robes, slippers, jewelry bag, iron, ironing board, and even a backpack. The double sinked bath room includes luxurious bath products with lavender as a base. Even bath salts are provided for soaking in the Jacuzzi tub. There is also a separate shower with plenty of pressure. Bicycles are on the property for use by the guests. The king size bed was super comfy as each mattress is hand made in Chico. A wonderful wine and cheese tasting is offered every afternoon from 5-7pm and the morning breakfast is scrumptious. We enjoyed fresh fruit smoothies, homemade waffles, quiche, pastries, and café latte. There were eggs, juice, cereals, yogurt, fruit, and plenty of variety to suit every taste. The outdoor patio is a lovely place to start the morning. The Cottage Grove Inn is right off Lincoln Avenue within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants of downtown. Our group of four had a marvelous stay and our only regret is that we didn’t spend more nights. It’s romantic, beautiful, clean, and the people are friendly and helpful. An intimate, romantic get away in the middle of everything.

Room Tip: Each cottage is individually designed and decorated. If you like the sound of fountains, ask for a c...
