Thank you for the kind words, we're happy to hear your night with us was great. The beds are definitely a favorite among our guests, one of the best night sleeps...

The cottages are newer, well furnished and decorated. The stand alone buildings make it great for privacy if that's what you want (wink-wink). The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in and king sized to boot. The staff, all the ladies, were polite and attentive. I was there with a wedding party and things could have not been any better. I ordered the couples massage and facials and the two ladies that performed the service couldn't be any better. It was a pleasure and I highly recommend this service to everyone. Everyone's attention to details was outstanding.

Now these cottages are right next to a road that every middle aged man (Geezers) and their $30K midlife-crisis motorcycles (that have to be extra loud for no reason but ego) travel setting off car alarms as they drive by. This was kind of annoying when your trying to relax with a massage. This is not the cottage's fault just an FYI. I will try another stay during a fall season when the old Geezers are off the road.

When I received my bill for the stay I was pleasantly surprised, this place is well worth the money and maybe more. If your planning a wedding, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Cottage #14 is all by itself in the back and #17 is a handicap accessible and right next to the office.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments, we're glad you enjoyed your stay with us and got to take advantage of the couples massage and facials.
An embarrased guest came in to the office to apologize after setting her alarm off for the second time during her stay. We have never known of motorcycles driving by and setting off alarms.
We look forward to your next stay with us in the Fall.

We spent two nights at Cottage Grove Inn and we loved it. We were there for a wedding in St. Helena. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The cottage was clean and cozy - stocked with very nice lotion & soaps. Great sound system in the room. The bed was comfortable, the pillows though were too soft & flat. That's the only negative I have on the whole weekend! The breakfast was great. Quiche, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, juice & coffee. They made fresh waffles & smoothies upon request also. Happy hour in the evening had wine & cheeses. I can't wait to go back!

We spent four nights at Cottage Grove Inn and we had a wonderful vacation. The cottages are lovely and very private and quiet. Those were the main reasons I booked this property and it was located within walking distance of town. I however gave it only an average rating because at that price point I really expected a bit more attention to detail. The shower was a small dark box with a shower curtain (yuck) and the rooms only had two small windows in the front giving it the feel of a cave. The breakfast was exactly the same every morning, which if you only stay one or two nights wouldn't be a problem. We did enjoy it very much and I don't want to dissuade anyone from staying, but as this is a review I want to share the info. It is a great place to stay.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments.
However, our showers are not the focal point in most of our baths, it does have a light on the ceiling and a big shower head. In our large bathrooms the emphasis is on the 100 gallon jacuzzi tub that has two seats. We do have a cottage that has a huge shower that accomodates two people. It has a standard 70 gallon jacuzzi tub too, keep in mind if you prefer that.
Our cottages were designed by our owner Architect,Tom Stimpert and he felt for the size of these cottages the windows were plentiful. I am sorry you did not agree.
We try to offer our guests a large breakfast variety of fresh made quiche, fresh fruit, made to order waffles and the ever favorite granola. You're also welcome to order a smoothie, cappuccino or juices; if you have any additional suggestions we welcome them.

We just spent 1 night at Cottage Grove Inn and really enjoyed it. The individual cottages are perfectly sized. There is plenty of space to relax and read, including the chairs on the front porch of each cottage. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I also really enjoyed the landscaping – the fountains and birdhouses spread over the property were great. The happy hour was good and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. Don’t miss the waffles. Highly recommend this property.

We're glad you got to take in the peaceful and beautiful setting at Cottage Grove Inn. The cottage porches seem to be a favorite among our guests, a place to enjoy a glass of wine, a cup of coffee or open a good book. Thank you for your comments and your recommendation, we look forward to seeing you next time.
