These little cottages are well equipped, private, quiet and within walking distance to town center Calistoga. Kate is very helpful, informative and makes sure everything is just right. Comfortable beds and bedding, coffee maker with coffee and fixings, water kettle, mini frige, complimentary water, out door deck and sitting area, tasty homemade pastries , fruit and juice delivered to the door... I can go on but needless to say we had a lovely stay and will recommend this to anyone visiting this area.

Room Tip: Ask for cottages up the hill.

AC,

Thank you for your very long love list. We're flattered. And, thanks for the improvement hints. We always appreciate suggestions that are delivered gently. We have taken action based upon your list. We have installed the flat screen, HD televisions. We have also upgraded the WIFI to a system that is 4x faster than the previous system. The showers and mirrors are next.

Thanks again,

Kate, Celeste and Joe, Your Innkeepers

Romantic personal cottages close to town and 100's of winery's. Loved our stay and the people that ran it were awesome. Had a bottle of champagne chilled for us when we arrived along with 3 dozen roses per my husbands request. Fresh homemade pastries delivered to our door each morning. Nice and quiet had several visitors like turkeys and deer in our yard every evening and morning.. LOVED IT

Room Tip: The last cottage has the largest shower and the most nature going on around it. Fig tree in the yar...

We just got back from a three-day stay at these lovely cottages in Calistoga, California--one of our favorite wine country regions--and can't say enough about how delightful this place is. each cottage is beautifully appointed with comfy overstuffed chairs, cute bistro table and chairs, and a super-comfortable bed with the most amazing sheets I've ever slept in. They are micro-fiber and soooo soft! Everything you need is in the air-conditioned room--a nice coffee maker (that makes real coffee--not instant), a tea kettle, little biscotti and apples for snacking, chilled bottles of water in the fridge, a corkscrew, soft lovely robes, and a spacious bathroom with an amazing shower. The room has a television that slides out on a shelf if you want to use it, but slides neatly back above the closet if you don't. Also, the outstanding radio has a port for your MP3 player, so if you want music in your room, it plays through the first-rate speakers. Each cottage has a private deck, and there is a little garden area as well, perfect for reading a book, having a snack and some wine, and visiting with friends. Joe and Celeste, and Kate do a marvelous job of seeing to every detail; they are knowledgeble about all the valley wineries and have tasting notes and recommendations for everyone, whether you're a novice taster or a veteran. We'll be back for sure--can't wait!

The Aurora Park Cottages are a individual cottages that are tastefully decorated, private and spacious.

We were greeted by Kate while checking in who was very professional and down to earth. I called in advance to see if we could check in early and she informed me we could and that she had the room cooled for us which was for perfect for a very hot day. Upon checkin, Kate showed us a shortcut to the town which was very helpful. We stayed two nights. Breakfast was delivered by Kate which was a nice bowl of fruit, orange juice, a large scone and a large croissant. There is a coffee maker in the room with good coffee! THe bathroom has nice amenities but the rain shower and the small hair dryer were not the best for long hair.

I wish we could have stayed longer. We will return.

This was our favorite place from our trip to San Francisco, Yosemite, Calistoga & Jenner, CA. The cottages were immaculate, and management put a lot of thought into every detail in these cabins. We only stayed one night -- definitely not enough time to enjoy Calistoga...but we managed to eat dinner in a great restaurant, Boskos Trattoria, and enjoyed visiting and tasting the wines at Summers Estate Wines; lovely place and great wine. I've attached a couple of pictures of the grounds of Aurora Park Cottages and I regret that I did not take a picture of the inside because it was really nice. Big pine bed, lots of pillows and beautiful bedding, leather furniture, nice kitchette area, in room coffee and great continental breakfast. Management went out of their way to provide us with lots of info about Calistoga, wine tasting tips and coupons. You won't regret booking these cabins.

My husband and I came to stay for our 10th anniversary. We arrived late on a Friday night and Celeste greeted us warmly and had our room heated up, since it was quite chilly outside. My husband is allergic to down and she took the time to take off all the down bedding, which he really appreciated. The cottage was very warm, comfy, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed for our two nights. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was roomy and had plenty of room for both of us to move around, the kitchen nook was stocked with apples, biscotti, the most delicious coffee (that I must look into and buy some for myself!), chocolates, and cold, bottled water. Also, my husband and I have to stick to a protein diet and with notice, Celeste was happy to accommodate us. She made us hard-boiled eggs and served it with ham, cheese, and fruit...perfect! We came to bike around the wineries in the Calistoga area and I can't recommend exploring this area that way enough. It was a wonderful experience! We rented bikes for the day from the Calistoga Bike Shop and Celeste gave us tasting coupons to use at some of the local wineries. We also went to Lavender Hills Spa for a couples spa treatment and it was and equally wonderful experience. The area is beautiful, the cottages were wonderful, Celeste was great and we had a memorable time!

I would only recommend a couple, tiny things. I wish the cottages had some sort of curtains...for privacy and for aesthetics. The room needed something up on the windows and I'm a freak about privacy and could tell that you could slightly see through the blinds from outside from a distance. I also wish the cottage had a tub. Just a personal preference.

Room Tip: All the cottages seem well appointed.
