Im really glad I stopped by here.
Its really pretty and got some great photo shots from the tower.
This was our last stop before we headed home and it was the cherry on top of a great trip tp Napa Valley.

Had a fantastic time on our tour and tasting of the castle. The castle is beautiful, there were even sheep grazing in the fields and guineas roaming the grounds. The guide explained to us how the castle was built, showed us how and where the wine is made, and then concluded the tour with an underground tasting of some of their white, red, and dessert wines. I wish we had known that you get a free tour if you join their club so if you are thinking of touring the castle I highly recommend joining their free club first! Everything about this place was excellent including the castle, the wine and the service.

Small tour of an authentic castle complete with torture chamber. Fantastic architecture -- over 120,000 sq. feet. Quite a setting for a winery. Wine tasting was great too.

The castle is a beautiful thing by itself, but tasting wine in the grand club members hall is spectacular. The normal tasting is $18 but for an extra $10 you can do the reserve tasting. We were shown to the upstairs Il Passito room which is filled with large wooden tables and the walls are decorated with vibrant murals of medieval scenes. In short you feel like an honored guest. The staff is very attentive to everyone's taste and suggests wines to appeal to you. The reserve wines were markedly better than any on the regular menu. The downstairs tasting room is noisy with people coming and going constantly. Our reserve tasting may be the best wine tasting we've ever had and we have done dozens all over the U.S. and Europe.
