We went to the EuroSpa and Inn after one of our friend recommand it.What a deception! People at the reception were totally unfriendly, rooms are small for the price they charge, cannot be able to park in front of our room,no soap or products for the 2nd night we stay in,no coffee or croissant for breakfeast (we have to run for it and it seems that we disturb the lady at the front desk!).Massages are great but you can stay somewhere else in Calistoga and come here for it.Really not a good memory for the price we paid.

Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Comfortable beds, great spa, spacious bathroom, nice little pool and hot tub and fantastic breakfast. Good location. Only downside is that our room did not get much sunlight. Very very minor detail.

The owners are super friendly and nice. They were very welcoming from the get go. This made up for any negatives about the place ( tiny pool, smaller rooms). Positives are awesome breakfast, friendly staff, large bathrooms with big tubs, super clean.,and great location off a side street but still within walking distance to Lincoln Ave.

We were checking out on the 4th of July and they let us keep our car in the parkling lot so we could go watch the town parade without the hassle of trying to move the car during the busiest few hours the town ever sees.

Breakfast was lovely. A nice spread of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and hard boiled eggs. Great coffee and juice. Newspapers too.

The rooms are nice, not big but the bathrooms are huge. Get a room with a jacuzzi tub for two.

The only downside is that the pool is bite size. Its very tiny, though it was nice and warm and had a scenic view.

This would be a great place to use as a home base for exploring wine country. If you came back in the evening to crash here and wake up here you would be happy. Its just not a place you are going to set up shop at and lounge by the pool because of how small it is.

I bet it is nice in the winter as the rates are lower and the room we had had a cute little fireplace. The outdoor area where we had breakfast also had a cool swiss fireplace. Very cozy! and with the jacuzzi in your room you would be all set.

P.S. They offer a AAA discount if you mention that you are a member.

A most pleasant and laid-back stay for 3 nts here...perfect location to wonderful wineries, restaurants. Our room was spacious and very clean. We loved that the quaint town of Calistoga was just a short walk...some cool stores and restaurants...Calistoga Inn was superb!

I just got back from a 2 night stay at the Euro Spa and Inn for a girlfriends' getaway weekend. The three of us stayed in two roooms and got treatments at the Spa.

I will start off the with the hotel itself- it was great! The rooms were clean, cozy, and each had the convenience of a mini-kitchen and robes. Each morning there was a continental breakfast on the patio and every afternoon there are afternoon snacks (cookies, cheese, crackers, fruit) to hold you over until dinner. The spa and pool (not so heated) were clean and relaxing.

Now for the Spa service- we looked into every spa in the area before booking here, mainly for the convenience of getting our treatments where we were staying despite the fact that the Spa packages weren't the best value (and they didn't give us much of a discount though between the three of us getting 3 treatments, you'd think they would have).

Two of us requested a male masseuse, while one of us requested a female. The two of us who had the male masseuse were very disappointed to say the least with our service for a couple of reasons. 1) The Masseuse: he looked very 'unkempt" and looked like he belonged in a grunge music band (pulling his hair back in a pony tail might have at least made him appear more professional. He was also very stingy with the massage oil-at first I didn't realize he was even using any. The massage and foot "reflexology" treatment (not worth $65!) were average. 2) The Room itself: NO music during the treatment which made it very awkward, the room was freezing (no heated bed), no curtain over the window and the sun was beaming into the window, even when I was laying on my stomach it was very bright, and the room was about 3 steps away from the reception desk, so I heard the receptionist coughing the entire time, all of her phone conversations (she didn't attempt to whisper during the phone calls), the register ringing, toilet flushing, the traffic from the main road about a tenth of a mile from the spa, and just about everything else you would NOT want to hear during a "relaxing" massage. Our friend who had the female massage therapist thoroughly enjoyed her massage, and she also had a room farther away from the main area where we were.

We all received a Euro Facial from Barbara and all enjoyed that treatment. She had relaxing music on in the room, a heated bed, and though she was a little chatty, she was very professional. It helped that the room was also tucked away.

My advice would be to make sure you make specific requests when you book a massage here- that you want it to be quiet, the room to be dark, etc. Or, go to another spa where they actually attempt to make your massage as enjoyable as possible! We ended up going to a different Spa center the next day to make up for horrible massage and decided that we will be going to the other spa on our next trip.
