“A Nice Tiny Winery”
Review of Dutch Henry Winery

This winery is truly tiny and the tasting area is simply a table set up in their wine production building.

I tried 5 of their wines, all we're good, and I bought 2.

The host was friendly (as was the winery cat and dog!)

They also make olive oil on site so I picked up a bottle of that as well.

Would recommend for a very casual wine tasting.

First of all, I want to qualify this review by saying that our group visited eleven wineries during our recent trip. Out of eighteen people, every single one of us felt that the man who poured our wine for us at Dutch Henry was very rude. He never engaged the group; there were no explanations about the wine .... told us that he "was not in the business of herding cats" and hollered "who is going to pay?". We didn't even complete the tasting we were so disgusted with his attitude. Our driver even encouraged us to move on to the next winery! If you look at my other reviews from this trip, the other ten wineries will get good to excellent reviews. This was the opinion of eighteen women and this did not need to happen. We were warmly received and enjoyed our other experiences but the man who was our host here made the experience awful. There are too many other places to go to waste your time here .... sorry.

The Dutch Henry Winery was our 3rd stop on a wine tour of the Napa Valley region. It was by far our favorite as it's pet friendly, offers picnic tables to eat outside and even bocce ball courts. It's very laid back and a lot of fun.

Great wine, friendly folks, beautiful grounds and very accessible. Always a return visit when in the area. Ask about their vineyard guesthouse for rent.

This was a great little winery with such welcoming friendly staff and dogs. We got to watch the grape removing process and even try a grape- so yummy! The wine was so good we bought a couple bottles and a bottle of olive oil. We brought our golden retriever knowing it was dog friendly. Great place and will visit again!
