Everytime we come to Napa Valley, we're scheduled a stop at Vince Arroyo Family Vineyard. There have excellent Petite Sirah, Cabs and others. The staff is always accommodating & give a good tour.

Their prices are excellent for the quality of their wines.

After the VAFV, outs worth the time to stop across the street at Vince's new winery, Otra Vez.

Arroyo has been one of our favorites for several years. This tasting did not disappoint. Ted and David are generous with their selections and their time. Make it a priority when in wine country.

The people who work there are very happy being there and that makes it fun to spend time with them. They are as good as you will find in Napa Valley. The wine is good enough.

My only concern is that the building itself and the tasting room should be much nicer, given how much money they make. Also, they should pave the gravel road.

The tasting room has a warehouse feel. I understand that they might be trying to promote themselves as a small family-run place, which it is. However, they can do better than having unfinished plywood walls. A place can have family charm and have the look that someone cares about the appearance of the room.

My assumption, which has no basis in fact, is that a bunch of guys run the place and their focus is on hiring really nice people and making good wine, thinking that is enough.

For me, I wish they got a woman or an interior designer involved, and I would like them to pave the road. We go to Napa regularly and I can quickly name many other wineries that covered all aspects of the experience, not just the people and the wine. Come on guys, get someone to fix up the room!

This winery was so accommodating to see us after-hours. Very friendly; black lab ready to offer a quick hello. Highly recommend.

We took a chance with this small winery in Calistoga and booked an appointment with friends for a casual wine tasting. The wine tasting experience was so fun and lasted 1.5+ hours to our surprise. We tried a big variety of wines, heard fun stories, had many laughs. We later relaxed at the outdoor picnic area which was quiet and shaded. We thoroughly enjoyed our outing to this quaint winery. It was a great contrast to some of the huge busy wineries that rush through tastings and don't provide nearly as personable experience as we had here. Definitely recommend in Calistoga area.
