“Glorious meal outside”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

My husband and I had dinner here last night, sitting outside by the fire/water feature. Our server Scott was attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our three course meal, highlights of which included the pork tenderloin with spaetzle and Brussels sprouts, vichyssoise, melt in your mouth beef short ribs, cheesecake and a divine chocolate pave with raspberry sauce. Very pleasant evening.

“Really great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

The food at both the restaurant and bar was creative (without being precious), fresh, and delicious. It's not cheap, but on a par with the really good restaurants in the area. Good wine list and excellent cocktails, too.

“So delicious!”

My girlfriends and I had lunch here after a few morning spa treatments. The food was so tasty. The ambience is great, as is the service. We are would definitely eat here again!

“lovely ambience, food just ok (i guess pricy as napa and michelin starred?!)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

the outside ambience here is really ovely but the food really is nothing at all to write home about unfortunately we found. The service started very well and was friendly but it took so long to get our dessert we almost had to walk out to get out transfer back. (Drinks also came as we were finishing respective courses so we were often without a drink when we were eating) Desert came with about a minute to spare (50 mins after order) so we ate it between us very quickly!!! the family dinner (fried chicken) was fine but really nothing better than the average you would get at the well known chain. (the mac cheese with bacon was tasty)

And the main scallop dish was tasty (although it was almost like a peanut butter sauce) and you only got 3 scallops.

I hear this is michellin starred- i guess that is the excuse they use to hike the prices up. The peach t cocktails were however very very nice and the tuna cappacio also yummy.

$160 for 2 cocktails, 2 beers, 2 starters, 2 2 mains and 1 desert (within in this the family deal so i guess would be more if ere both a la carte) might seem reasonable to some (we found restaurants in California are far more expensive then UK ones on the whole) but when the portions were small, the service slow and the food just ok we felt a tiny bit annoyed paying this.

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

The Lucky Pig would be great for dinner but it's to much for lunch unless you want to share with 2+ people. The breakfasts were amazing. Lemon ricotta pine nut blueberry syrup pancakes. For dinner fried green tomatoes topped with shrimp and avocado and perfectly cooked halibut.
