Great little place to get away from the crowds in Napa Valley wineries. If you hike or drive up far enough, you'll get to some great valley overlooks. Take a picnic lunch up the trail to the Robert Louis Stevenson monument, placed in a small clearing far enough up the trail that most don't reach it. We enjoyed a quiet picnic with a wonderful half-bottle on a warm afternoon. Could not have imagined a better way to spend a day.

If you like to hike, this is a wonderful place to hike. It is absolutely beautiful and the trails are nice. When you get to the top of St. Helena, on a clear day, you can see Mount Shasta, and Mt. Tamalpias.

It's a little hard to see the signs from the road, so keep a sharp eye out. There were several good trails to chose from including one to the monument with an overlook just up the trail. The trails are dry and a little slippery, so you need at least tennis shoes.

Very enjoyable hike with a great view at the overlook.

We only hiked as far as the RLS book memorial. (2 miles rt). Nice, lots of shade. It's 5 miles one way to the very top. Didn't see any facilities.

Really nice hikes through forest and along vineyards. There are a couple markers that explain a bit of the history and context and some of the ruins on the property. We would definitely like to come back and hike more of the park.
