great hotel for the price. Not the Ritz, but clean, kind staff and perfect location. Walking distance to great restaurants (sushi, Lebanese, or organic Mexican) Albertson's and Starbucks. Amazingly great organic/gluten-free restaurant (Hugo's) 3miles up the road and a movie theater. Beautiful drive to Malibu. Nice drive to Magic Mountain and easy commute to LAX. Would definately stay again. Located in a quiet safe neighborhood.

Room Tip: had lower level corner room 177 parking just outside of door. Heater was loud but heated room fast s...

Thank you for posting your comment for Good Nite Inn Calabasas. Glad to hear you enjoyed Hugo's. We have another new restaurant that just opened 200yds from us called "Salt". We do have a nice selection of restaurants considering we really are on outskirts of everything. We look forward to you staying with us again!

GM

This hotel was very close to the venue I was going to. I requested downstairs and I got it with no problems. Remember there are no elevators to this hotel so if you are handicapped make sure when you make reservation you request downstairs. Only issue was the parking. It was so busy that I had to park at the other end of hotel from my room. Being handicapped that was not a good thing. The room was nice, just a basic room. Bed, T.V. and a desk. Clean and friendly staff.

Room Tip: Try to get room away from freeway.

We stayed for three nights at The Good Nite Inn last week. The hotel has no frills but what do you expect for $50 per night? We were able to borrow an iron and blow dryer from the front desk. The room was very small but the property was extremely clean.
The location is great; not only a mile from our friends in Calabasas but next door to an Albertsons grocery store, Starbucks and a handful of restaurants. The property is located on a busy street so my advice would be to request a 2nd floor room overlooking the pool.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will likely be back.

Leaving for LAX from Santa Barbara for an early morning flight is tough. Why not stay in Calabasas less than 40 minutes from LAX rather than two hours if you stay in Santa Barbara. And if you do, then Good Nite Inn is your place. Easy checkin, low price, close to Starbucks. What else do you want? Best value in the whole area.

Room Tip: Ask to stay as far from freeway as possible.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD!!!!

Long story short, the room was dirty (dirty washclothes and a pair of underwear left behind) and it didn’t appear it had been cleaned at all. Sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed. The room infested with bed bugs, we brought it to the managements attention and they were not apologetic and treated it as if it were no big deal. It was only after we showed them the dozens of welts and bites on my husband and children and blood stains on the sheets that they refunded our money and moved us to a different room.

The second room was also infested and they treated it as if it was no big deal and would not refund all of our money. It’s very clear that the management and staff is well aware of the bed bug problem there and try to downplay it so that they do not lose business. The maintenance and housekeeping were not surprised at all and acted as if dealing with bed bugs was part of the everyday routine there.

I called the corporated office several times and they have not returned my calls. The Corporate office was also very unprofessional and would not let me talk to someone in person. There have been several cases of bed bugs in this hotel under the national bed bug registry.

Room Tip: Rooms 132 and 133 have bed bugs!

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are certainly apologetic for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. It’s unfortunate that all of your concerns were not brought to our attention at the time of your stay (items left behind, check-in issues, no supplies, etc.), as we certainly would have done as much as possible to rectify the situation. In reference to the corporate offices, we do pride ourselves in getting back to any and all unsatisfied guests, and your initial bed bug claim was brought to our attention around the time of your stay. In response to this, it appears that three (3) nights of your stay were then refunded to you at check-out. In addition, I have checked with all staff members and we have no record of any previous calls being made to us, but we did receive an e-mail from you on 10/1/12. When we received this e-mail, our records show that we immediately responded by e-mailing you back and also left a voicemail message. To date, we unfortunately have not heard from you in an effort to further address your concerns. Regardless, it’s apparent that you did not have a good experience and for that we do apologize. We do hope that you will give us another opportunity to be of service in the future, as what you may have experienced is not at all in line with our customary high level of guest satisfaction. Feel free to call us at any time should you like to discuss this matter further.

Thank you for your response about your recent visit. Yes, we do charge a fee for wi-fi so that only those requiring it need incur the cost and we keep our rates as low as we can. I'm sure you will agree we do offer the best value by far in the area. We look forward to you staying with us again in the near future.
