This is our favorite go to diner for breakfast whenever we come to Palm Springs. The potato pancakes are better than mama's and the multigrain pancakes are to die for.

After landing in Palm Springs we drove up to the Morongo Hotel. It was late in the evening and we had been traveling all day long. We arrived at Ruby's Diner with 20 minutes until closing. We were immediately seated and greeted by the sweetest young lady who had the greatest attitude! Many places would frown upon people walking in near closing time, but not this one! She treated us so well and made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect! Loved the decor! I wish we had gotten the young lady's name because she was an excellent employee and should be rewarded for being so good! Highly Recommend this diner and would make it a favorite for sure! Wish they had these where we live!

This location is a bit out of the way, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and truly appreciated the décor and ambience, from the full-sized Indian motorcycle to the mini-57 Chevy and trailer. The staff are dressed in period uniforms and have a very polite patter going on. We happened to be there on the establishment's birthday and they had a special for a cheeseburger and fries for $3.10. Both were excellent. Great menu with soda fountain favorites as well as the burgers, etc. Well worth the visit just for the atmosphere alone, but the food was also good and their regular prices are very reasonable. There are other Rubys in the area as well.

We checked out this little gem after seeing the outlet malls in the area just outside Palm Springs.

It is a throw back to the 1950's where the interior and the staff reflect the good old days of highway diner experiences. Well laid out, very unique 50's décor, pictures, and menus.

The service was amazing, very attentive, and so polite.

The menu was very "nostalgic" and full of options, from the traditional burger, fries and shakes to more 2000's options, like veggie and turkey burgers.

Awesome dessert and drink options as well.

Colourful, fun and definitely recommended for your trip either to or from the desert!! Enjoy!!

Excellent Ruby's in Cabazon near the casino. Love the diner motif, and as always love the food and burgers here, always good service always good food, and they offer a variety. Also, it's nice that they actually offer gluten free burger buns.
