Reliable and great airport hotel

Everything was great - although it may be several years between stays here, it is my first choice for a San Francisco airport hotel. Staff was friendly and the rooms clean. I love the warmth and feeling of the lobby. A snack with a drink is a very nice complimentary touch. The room was very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here and were pleased with the room, view, and amenities at the hotel. There were a lot of good food options close by also. I would recommend this hotel for business meetings. Easy ride into the city also.

Rooms are very dated. The beds are old and uncomfortable. Reception staff do their job but are not there to delight or go out of their way. Food at the reception consisted of chips, salsa, celery and carrots. Pics on Embassy Suites website are not representative of this hotel.

Sadly, we actually really love this hotel. Stayed here many times over the last two years, as it’s been our home away from home while we visit my terminally ill sister who lives close by. Due to the extensive costs of our frequent trips to California, I was trying to find the best price for this hotel and I came across Priceline and I noticed it was less expensive than direct through Hilton. I saw Hilton’s price match guarantee right here on TripAdvisor, so I called the hotel directly and explained the situation. However, the manager refused to price match Priceline’s for the same dates, room type, number of guests. Apparently, repeat guests don’t mean much to them. He actually told me to book thru Priceline. Confused as to why he didn’t want to help me, I went ahead and took his advice and booked Priceline, since this is the place my parent’s feel most comfortable while visiting their sick daughter and the price difference was a good savings. However, after thinking more about it later that night and being a bit apprehensive about booking third party since I’ve always booked directly, I called my Hilton Honors to see if they could help me book the same price. I explained that I was hoping for some piece of mind in booking direct, as well as savings, since I’m sending my parents across the country without me this trip. Apparently, their price match guarantee is no guarantee at all. They would not help me, even though I had the Priceline reservation confirmation right in front of me showing the rate I booked.

My favorite brand, my favorite hotel disappointed me tonight. The rate I was asking them to match was $677.89 for four nights.

The room was cold because heating system is old. Only option given us was portable heaters. The supervisor was very harsh and stated take the heaters or leave. He stated the building is old and the heating system is not up to par

Only stayed here one night due to early morning flight. Check In was easy and the Hotel Clerk, Mert, was very polite and answered all our questions regarding their Stay, Park and Fly Program. Hotel is an older E.S. but is in good condition and our room was fine. Room was large and clean and had a side few of the bay and SFO. Beds were very comfortable. Not much of a selection of food at the Managers Reception, Carrots, Chips and Salsa but had adequate amount of alcohol for any drinker. Breakfast was typical ES. All in all a good stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Room tip: Get a bay view room
