The restaurant is on the bay just south of SFO airport, and walking distance from the SFO Marriott. Nice view and a reservation helps during evening dining. The menu covered just about every Asian country plus a nod to Italy, Hawaii and good old American burgers plus probably several other cuisines I left out! We sampled the Asian fare and it was unique in that it was not just what you'd find at a Chinese buffet. The biggest problem was deciding what to order. The food was quite good and the presentation was very nice. As someone else noted, it is quite noisy, but that seems fairly common nowadays, especially in some of the chain eateries.

The food here reminded me of an ambitious TGI Fridays. I had seafood and it was definitely frozen not fresh. The lettuce wrap was very good. The bar was probably the best part and good times were had.

This restaurant fits the bill if you are starving and need some comfort food and drink. Be sure to get a reservation or you could wait up to an hour. It is on the water so you can have a nice view, but it's a pretty plain view.

We stayed in a nearby airport hotel and went looking for a restaurant within easy walking. We found the Elephant Bar restaurant on the internet. It was close and looked good. We turned up without a reservations on a busy Sunday lunch time. There was quite a line (queue) but got a great table within 30 minutes. The restaurant was busy and enjoyably lively. The service was excellent and the food was equally good. Our table had a wonderful view of the bay and the planes coming into land and taking off from the airport (no jet noise). If you don't have in a good restaurant in your hotel at San Francisco airport then we recommend you try the Elephant Bar.

Full bar and beautiful bay viewLoved all their appetizer. Very rich dressing and decorated and can be shared between two
I ordered the seared ahi tuna salad, which had a little too much dressing.
