This place has so much going for it, and yet, I don't know if I would want to go back again.
Positives: cool vibe inside, with comfortable chairs and tables, arranged in an old brick-walled building; efficient (if not outstanding) service; great assortment of Steelhead beers (I tried three, and all were very good).
Negatives: the food we had for dinner was nothing special: the pasta dish seemed fresh but didn't have much flavor; the wife's burger was "OK", but the fries were on par with what is served at Denny's (neither one of us could finish them -- which is quite unusual for us!); on the other hand, the dessert (chocolate cheesecake) had good flavor, but was oddly dry in texture.
There is also a back room with pool tables, lounges for sitting, and a separate bar. Nice set-up, except that the tables are (at least the one we used was) somewhat lopsided, and the price is a bit steep for the quality of the tables and equipment. We did get a break on the pricing, after I mentioned this fact to the bartender, which was nice.
May go back for brews and pool the next time we are in the area -- will probably dine elsewhere, however...
