This i Cuban bakery is truly a sight to behold. We were there in its most crowded time, Sunday morning late, and it was overflowing with Hispanic customers just back from Church, there either to have lunch or to buy Sunday pastries. Notwithstanding the crowd, the management and service were very organized, courteous and expedition. The variety of pastries and cuban little tapas is immense, and the whole atmosphere really cool.Price cannot be beaten. We met with friend and really enjoyed this pause.

After much badgering to our family in LA that we wanted to go to Portos as they are #1 on TripAdvisor, we got to go on one of our last days. I was really impressed. They have an impressive selection of sandwiches (both Cuban and others) and a very good selection of foods all at affordable prices.

There was a queue when we arrived but the queue went quite quick. I am told that sometimes there are queues that can be really lengthy so we were fortunate. I would have liked to come back a couple of times but with the queues, you never know if it will be a quick visit or not. Despite this, I would recommend trying the infamous Portos at least once as it was a good experience.

This place is fantastic. Delicious fresh baked goods. Excellent prices. Staff is friendly and fast. The most beautiful baked goods you have ever seen. Leaves you wanting to plan your next trip to Portos. Crowded, because it is the best. Plan to stand in line or go early. You won't be disappointed.

A friend suggested this Bakery and I'm so glad they did. One of the best meals we had on our trip. Parking was very easy located on the side/back of the building. When we arrived there was a small line but it can very quickly turn into a big line but it moves rather quickly. We ordered the potato balls which has seasoned meat wrapped in mash potatoes and fried AMAZING, the cheese rolls...heaven (seriously buy two or more dozen to go or you'll wish you had) and the chicken empanada which was great. There was plenty of seating but they do fill up fast and the bathrooms were very clean. I almost forgot to mention the prices are such a great deal!!!!!!!

Was there on March '13.
The breakfast was just fantastic , a best breakfast during our US trip.
"Guacamole and Cheese Omelette " and Cheese sandwiches , coffee and raspberry smoothie - everything was fresh and extremely tasty. Worth every minute of waiting - we visited it on Sunday morning and wait ~10 min in line , but everything was well organized , no problem receive a table.
