Everything was perfect and the staff was very helpful! We, our family, took advantage of the whirlpool, and it was worth it after long days of walking and standing. The room was very clean, and very soundproof from the connecting rooms!

From the check in to check out absolutely perfect - the rooms are big, the break fast was perfect, and for sure - prices follow my review - not the cheapest one, but the best cost -benefit around LA. Me and my wife spent 5 wonderful days in our last vacation.

Spent 4 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott in Burbank when moving my daughter into college from the East Coast. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience of staying at the Courtyard. From check-in to check-out, we were treated by the hotel staff in a friendly manner. They were extremely helpful with suggestions to help make our stay more enjoyable. The rooms were nicely sized and the beds were very comfortable. Free wifi let us stay connected to our friends & family back home. The breakfast buffet was appreciated and fairly priced; including a custom omelette station. Nice bar area with plenty of nooks and comfy seats for conversation and relaxation. There's a nice outdoor pool area with natural gas tiki torches and this hotel is extremely convenient to shopping and all major highways!

This Courtyard Marriott has performed well...We'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: The double queen bed rooms feature 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. Plenty of room for families!

Hi, this Courtyard is more attractive than most in the chain and quite well located. It's near shopping, restaurants, the airport, and the freeway but the rooms were very quiet, large and comfortable. We had a view of the pool and spa and palm trees, much more pleasant than you'd expect from a hotel located on the edge of a shopping plaza. The rooms have a coffee pot and a small fridge, which was very handy.

The staff was friendly and took care of our requests (extra towels, a problem with the ironing board) very quickly. We were there for a week and were able to get a good long term stay rate.

The downsides were pretty typical of Courtyards. There is no free breakfast. The free coffee in the lobby ends at 11 a.m. and it's not self service. We asked for black coffee in the lobby each morning, and each morning the staffer asked if we wanted the "complementary" coffee. Well, of course.

The mattresses are only so-so and the bathroom ventilation is almost nonexisitent (this seems to be true of all Marriotts, regardless of brand.) The heating unit for our room was very noisy--to the point where it interfered with conversation or the TV. Those aren't big problems and we would be happy to stay here again.

I was a bit apprehensive about this location as it's situated in a rather large plaza and it's in close proximity to the airport. Amazingly, you never hear the planes and the convenience of the plaza makes this location perfect. Check-in was fast and easy and the staff was incredible. We were given keys to the room and off we went. When we walked into the room, the smell of cigarette smoke was quite heavy. We went back down to the lobby and the staff quickly reassigned us to another room. They were very apologetic for the inconvenience. Our new room was just fine and I had no complaints. The hotel is just a 10 minute drive to Universal Studios and Warner Bros., and 15 minutes to Hollywood. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar one evening and the service was very good.
We were disappointed by the breakfast buffet, which I felt was overpriced and poorly managed. When I attempted to order a waffle from the gentleman making waffles, he acknowledged my request, then disappeared into the kitchen without saying another word. I waited for more than five minutes before I decided to scrap the waffle idea and take the food that I had. He reappeared several minutes into my breakfast without a waffle. The overall quality of the food was lacking as well.
I want to point out the efforts of one particular staff member who made the stay truly excellent. At the front desk, Roger did everything he could to make the stay a memorable one. He reassigned my room on the first day and when I had a billing question on the last day, he handled it incredibly well. His dedication is what gives a Marriott hotel like this its edge.

Finding a good hotel north of the Hollywood Hills can be difficult. The Burbank Courtyard was just what we wanted: tasteful, quiet, and easy to find. I was pleasantly surprised at the attentiveness and helpfulness of the staff, who seemed genuinely interested in our comfort without being intrusive. The hotel is near a shopping center: several national brand restaurants are within easy walking distance. Breakfast was expensive but delicious. For any future trips to Burbank, Van Nuys, or the eastern half of the valley, this will be our place.

I highly recommend staying here you can't go wrong. It has everything you could want. The pool and hot tub are nice it feels like a resort with the tiki torches and firepit. The decor is perfect and they have a nice bar, great breakfast, an open row of computers to use, and the Internet it free, which is what it should be!
