We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Knott's. We arrived too early to check in but the men at the front desk were extremely nice and accommodating, and happily stored our luggage. We walked over to the Target across the street. Crossing the street here or anywhere along Beach Blvd seemed quite dangerous. There was a lot of traffic, it moves fast and when the walk signal comes on you need to run because it will change before you make it to the other side. Our room was fine, it was clean and had a small fridge. They do have a washer and dryer on the second floor which we used and worked well. The pool and outdoor seating areas were nice. So, the only reason I gave this a 4 out of 5 is the shuttle to Knott's. This hotel is 1 mile down the road and I booked it because it had a shuttle, as we do not have a car here. I called the front desk the night before to confirm shuttle times and reserve a time. They put me on with the shuttle driver who informed the earliest shuttle to Knott's was at noon. Well Knott's opens at 10 and we didn't want to miss the first two hours of the day. The next morning I went to the front desk and confirmed that. I did reserve a ride back for 7:10. So we walked. I would not recommend walking. Take an Uber, it will be cheap. We had to cross a few freeway entrances with no crosswalk and then to the other side of the road on a crosswalk that was still pretty scary. That evening the shuttle driver arrived right on time and he was such a nice man!! I don't blame him, but it is something to be aware of. We only had appetizers in the restaurant one night and they were good, and the cooler in the gift shop had a good selection of ice cream bars. We did not have breakfast here. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, it was a good stay.
