When I picked up the brochure on this at the Orange Country airport I was afraid this exhibit of salvaged artifacts from such a tragedy was going to be tacky, maybe even disrespectful of the 1,500 people who died, but it was done with sensitivity. The facts surrounding the sinking were carefully explained. Very interesting look into the past, especially the class system at the turn of the last century. I've watched a lot of documentaries on the sinking, but this really brought it home. Allow at least two hours to view the exhibit and the gift shop (lots of interesting books to browse through).
The adult admission is $21.95 and kids $14.95, but the brochure we got at the airport was good for up to six admissions at $12 each!
The exhibit building is right next to Knott's Berry Farm and across the street from Medieval Times. Plenty of free parking.
