On a recent rainy day we visited the park at opening. The parking guy told us he did not know whether rides were affected. The ticket counter mentioned two rides were not running (not necessarily due to rain). But once in the park we find no roller coasters are running. We are told to wait an hour for these rides to operate. We asked if the Silver Bullet will run and were told it does not run in the rain. We asked if ANY rides operate during rain. No. By now it's 40 minutes after park opening. We went to customer service to ask for refund. They asked for our tickets to see the time of purchase. It had not yet been an hour. We were given a refund. Presumably this is why visitors are told to wait an hour for roller coasters to run. Teens asking for a refund at the same time were only given passes for future use. We said it's false advertising to sell tickets when no roller coasters will be operating, they said "tickets are for park entrance not for rides!" We then took our ticket refund receipt to parking attendant to ask for refund. They are owned by the same co. We got our refund but another man was denied a refund. Next time ask for refund immediately, then wait an hour to see if coasters run.
