On a recent rainy day we visited the park at opening. The parking guy told us he did not know whether rides were affected. The ticket counter mentioned two rides were not running (not necessarily due to rain). But once in the park we find no roller coasters are running. We are told to wait an hour for these rides to operate. We asked if the Silver Bullet will run and were told it does not run in the rain. We asked if ANY rides operate during rain. No. By now it's 40 minutes after park opening. We went to customer service to ask for refund. They asked for our tickets to see the time of purchase. It had not yet been an hour. We were given a refund. Presumably this is why visitors are told to wait an hour for roller coasters to run. Teens asking for a refund at the same time were only given passes for future use. We said it's false advertising to sell tickets when no roller coasters will be operating, they said "tickets are for park entrance not for rides!" We then took our ticket refund receipt to parking attendant to ask for refund. They are owned by the same co. We got our refund but another man was denied a refund. Next time ask for refund immediately, then wait an hour to see if coasters run.

Even though some of the attractions at Knott's are pretty much what you would see at a general carnival, the place is still a lot of fun. My two sisters and I had a fantastic day here and was a nice break away from the crowds at Disneyland.

We took a bus from our Anaheim hotel which cost $5 return, it dropped us right out front of the park. We spent a whole day there but probably could have spent two days if we wanted to ride all the attractions especially the coasters.

The coasters at Knott's are awesome and shouldn't be missed (unfortunately we did miss some) we found it easy to find food we all liked (picky eaters in the group) and the staff were helpful and the park was clean.

I totally recommend Knott's for a day out and the Snoopy land is awesome if you have anyone in your group under 100! :)

I've been to Knott's Berry Farm before with family and it was great fun. Terrific rides, and a good clean family atmosphere. However, the last time we were there, we experienced numerous problems. The main attraction rides were closed for repair (including Ghostrider and Xcelerator), some park attendants were very curt and unpleasant, and the park showed obvious signs of 'winding down'. Granted, we were there just after the main summer season, but we paid just as much to enter the park as high season tourists, so we expected everything to be open and the park to be clean and tidy. 2 members of our party are in wheelchairs and we had to wait in separate queues for attendants to help us onto rides. Fine, so long as you don't have to wait for up to an hour longer! Other parks have the routine for helping disabled guests down to a fine art - not so with KBF!
Even restaurants and shops were closing down early and 'out of stock' of many items.
Very disappointing considering we had travelled all the way from Scotland to visit the park.

Our family had a wonderful time at Knott's Berry Farm. We spent all day there and still didn't get enough. Also, after we left, we realized our daughter had left her jacket in the bumper cars. We called them the next day and they found the jacket and shipped it to us for FREE!!! Those guys are awesome.

We had previously gone to disneyland the past 2 days and dealt with massive crowds and enormous line ups. So today we decided to go to knotts berry farm and there was hardly a soul in site. We arrived near 11 a.m. and it was great I was able to ride every roller coaster within an hour except for ghost rider. (we didn't ride ghost rider because it was incredibly windy and we were prepared for some of the rides to be shut down. also this was posted on a sign before we entered the park!) I didn't wait in any line up for more than 2 minutes, enough time for the roller coaster to make it back to the loading area.
This is however no place for little tikes, the park is a place for mild thrill seekers. I am 18 and i brought my girlfriend as well, she rode on most of the rides excluding the accelerator but she also had alot of fun. We also enjoyed searching the boutiques and bought quite a few things to take back as souvanirs.
Over-all i thought this was a great park the reason I only give it a 4 out of 5 was because I did expect the vendors to be more friendly, it seemed that they didn't really care about the parks profit. The ones that were friendly were the trades people making profit, they were very helpful. In my opinion people should be between the ages of 14-50. And one more thing don't bring anything you have to carry around with you all day like a camera/purse, bring a back-pack and put everything in it.
