First time at this property. It has undergone a makeup over last year.
I was told that it was a little uncomfortable during this period.
We found it to be clean and comfortable for the stay. The staff very accommodating.
It is very near to most of the local attractions and nice availability to the local wineries.
Would definitely stay again.

Room tip: away from elevator

Great hotel! Seemed to be recently renovated and had a wonderful staff - every staff member we ran into was friendly and helpful. Extremely clean hotel. Fitness Center was huge and the food was excellent. This time was only a short trip, but we will be back!!

We stayed here when we could not get a hotel room in Solvang, which is just a few miles away. Hotel is fairly new. Clean and modern. Our room was a double queen suite - pricey for our single night here but the room was spacious and quite nice. Friendly clerks at the registration desk offered us each a glass of champagne after we signed in. Nice touch. Had to leave early the next morning so we did not get to try out the hotel's amenities or the restaurant. Breakfast smelled great as we walked by. Hotel is close to highway 101 and our room faced the highway but it was very quiet at night. Would probably stay here again.

We stayed here on a recent weekend to go wine tasting as the location is perfect. The good: room was comfortable, breakfast was good, staff was excellent. With the sliders closed, outside noise was minimal. The location makes it easy to get to wineries, restaurants, etc. The bad: the noise from the freeway (we were on that side) made it impossible to get fresh air, so we had to rely on a noise AC. The bathroom has been remodeled which is nice, but they remembered toilet paper at the last second. You have to twist around to reach it. Not exactly comfortable. Unlike the sliders which kept outside noise out, the door and walls were very thin and the noise of conversations or kids running down the hall came right through. None of it lasted long enough to complain about, it was just annoying.

Room tip: Stay away from the freeway side, which is the back side.

This was our second time staying at this hotel (our first was more than 5 years ago). Since then the rooms have been renovated. One thing to note, is that the rooms have hard floors- no carpets. Although not an issue for me, but thought I'd note that. Our room was also supplied with house slippers to use while there. Our stay included a complimentary breakfast buffet which was very satisfying and filling. My husband and I visiting the lounge one evening for drinks and an appetizer, and it was good to see that they did not skimp on portion sizes. If you are looking to do a Santa Ynez Valley wine tour or want to visit some of the smaller towns in the valley this location is great. It's just a few minutes from Solvang, and then a short drive from there to Los Olivos and Ballard (Los Alamos is close also, but we did not visit). If ever in the area again, we would stay here again.
