“Great Beer and Great people”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

It is a must stop every time we are in the area. Always great beer, nice people and good music on the weekends. It is away from the crowds so even on a bust weekend you can find a place to sit and when the weather is nice they have a great outdoor area.

“Tucked in an industrial setting but FUN!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

A microbrewery that is fun to visit with a pizza garden on the side where you can order in from a local place, linger and taste beers with your lunch. much more casual and welcoming than the local winery.

“Amazing gem of a place”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

This was recommended by someone at a local vinyard and is located at the end of a sort of industrial estate, so the location wasn't as scenic as the vinyards but don't let that put you off. Step inside and you'll find this magical place, full of great tasting beer, fun, laughter and most importantly super friendly staff and locals who go out of their way to make sure you have a good time.

We went at the end of the day for a tasting and were told that they were having a band playing and a pizza truck that evening and we should come along. So we did and had tons of fun. Band were great (Spencer the Gardener) and it was really surreal sitting in a bar, in a big industrial warehouse, watching a band that were set up amongst all the big beer brewing steel vats, with people still getting grist out behind them - it worked though. The crowd seemed to be locals, people danced, people were very friendly and shared their experiences of living in Buellton and what had brought them there very easily with us two nosey Brits. We had a brilliant night and the beer was really nice, reasonably priced and was obviously good quality stuff because we didn't have bad heads the next day.

Would highly recommend this as an alternative to the wine tasting. The staff are approachable and knowledgeable about their product and make you feel very welcome. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal and you feel like you are visiting old friends. Would love to go back.

“Love this beer and place”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

We discovered this beer the first time we came to Solvang and we loved it. So we decided to visit the brewery and we loved it. The people there are really nice and the environment is pretty good. We tried their sampler so we can get a taste of all they had to offer and we loved their Stagecoach stout and Davy Brown Ale beer. You can order food from two local places and they bring it into the brewery. Overall we really enjoyed our trip here.

“Not Too Far Off The Freeway!”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

This place is very well put together for only being open a few year. Tried the sampler with Wheat, IPA, Double IPA, and Brown. All were really good, but tasted a little green. Seems like they are really busy. If you are going to be passing by on the 101 this is a great place for a stop.
