We went on a family outing with my 2 and 5 year old kids and they had a great time. My son loved the snakes and spiders (typical boy!) and my daughter had fun with the monkeys, birds and butterflies. The butterflies are beautiful and to see them in their natural tropical habitat was wonderful. We had lunch at the little restaurant - the staff were really friendly and service was quick and efficient, even though the place was full. The little gift shop is well priced and we came home with some cute souvenirs. Definitely recommended for a educational & fun outing.

We had a high expectation of Butterfly World because of recommendations from friends but we were slightly dissapointed. Great place for a light lunch but the service is slow and waiters not very attentive. Overall not to bad place.

Even though small, this packs a punch with loads of bird life, even a marmoset and iguanas along with the butterflies. Well laid out and I am glad we stopped

We had to pop out that side of town, and had not been for a while. It is a great place, the kids loved it (age 5 & 8) and there are Blue duikers, snakes and iguanas, and a bat (see if you can find it). We did not eat there as we were on our way to lunch. It kept the kids busy for over an hour and they loved seeing the various butterflies and cocoons.

They also offer a great family rate.

Butterflies, lizards, parrots and other animals for the kids. Nice picnic area outside serving ice cream.
