We were so excited to see that Casa del Zorro was back, that we booked immediately for 5 nights at the re-introductory rate. Overall, Zorro is looking good, but with a few rough edges, like mis-matched furniture and sparse flowers, and a terrible wine list. The room was lovely except for the furniture and the absurd $25 charge to build a fire. (I did it myself with no problem instead.) The Butterfield restaurant is overpriced although the food is generally good. Eating at Fox Den, the bar, would be ok except for the skimpy wine and beer options. The staff is obviously delighted to be back in business. We definitely recommend Zorro, but note that it is not fully up to par, including that the Spa is NOT open. The pools are open, and the fitness room has good weight lifting equipment but very poor cardio offerings.
