This is a gem of a state park. We checked out the RV and campsites and took one small hike and one longer hike. The longer one was to an oasis, and was about 3 mi roundtrip. It was described as "easy". Yes it would be easy for a fit young person, but not so for older folks. So I found the characterization a little mis-leading, and was most definitely challenged on this hike, having to scramble over boulders and unsteady stepping stones across little streams. I'm glad I did it, but it definitely was more of a challenge than I'd thought. I felt sorry for older and infirm folks I saw on the trail. All in all though, a great experience I'm glad I didn't miss.
