This is a small place with limited indoor seating and some outdoor seating. A lot of people get their food to go and they'll even deliver their pizza.
So the sandwiches aren't fancy but they are pretty good; the soup can be really good (look for the gazpacho) or not so good; the coffee is good; the pastries are homemade and very good; the pizza is the best in town (that means that it's good but could be better but at least the crust is handmade); the salads go from pretty good to okay. The place is casual and the prices are very reasonable. There are daily specials and you can always find locals who love to boast about Borrego.
Just one cautionary note: When the owner's not there the food and the service are not as good.
