“Not happy”
Reviewed April 8, 2012

This is the third visit (out of many over the past years) to The Springs at Borrego which confirms my growing suspicions that the park is out growing its popularity. Again we were not happy with our week long stay-the spa area was over crowded, bathrooms dirty, among other things. Wi-Fi unpredictable and the staff not very friendly. Even neighbors in the park had similar experiences. Some left to rent at other spaces where the rates are much lower. Most likely we will not return. Too bad because we really liked the place when it was smaller and much more intimate. When you could enjoy the spa or workout room without being over run by other guests.

The best place to stay in the area! Spota are spacious and very clean. Kids more present on the weekends but they seemed to be well behaved. The pool and hottubs are wonderful. They had live entertainment and food on Saturday night (ongoing?). The wi-fi is slow, especially for an iPhone. They are expanding the park with new bigger spaces (pushers?). The spaces on the inside facing the golf course are the best! We'll be back! Found this place because our favorite place to go (Joshua Tree National Park Campground) has been washed away and a rebuild time has not been decided. (WAH!) Well worth the extra miles tarveled...

We love visiting Borrego Springs in the Fall and Spring and The Springs is the only place we will stay. It has everything you want from an RV park and more. There are NO bad sites - all have incredible views of the mountains. Love the proximity to the little town of Borrego. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool and mineral springs hot tubs are great. Very clean bathrooms and showers right next to the pool area. We also enjoyed the dinner and slide show presentation from Dennis Mammana, the resident astromomer, and a trip to a small observatory to see stars and planets up close. Don't miss the metal sculptures placed in varios spots around the desert created by Ricardo Breceda too!! They are incredible. And, of course, if you have a four-wheeled drive vehicle you have to go to Fonts Point and Coyote Canyon. Can't wait to go back to The Springs and see what new areas we can uncover in the Anza-Borrego State Desert!

We stayed here for this last weekend. We had a wonderful time. The park was extremely tidy. The pool was heated, new , nice and all the amenities were clean. The mineral hot spring spas were wonderful! The landscaping was nice and golf course impeccable. The staff here are all so very nice and friendly. Treat yourself and splurge and get a massage with Anna at their on-site Wellness Center Massage Room. She is amazing! She is such an asset to this RV resort. And her prices are reasonable. The staff at the front were super nice and gave our children fish food to feed the fish. The only thing I wish were here, was a restaurant or at least, a better market/store with more options. And I was expecting the spots to have more space between them. After all, you are out in the dessert pretty much in the middle of nowhere...you would think that there is plenty of room to not all be crammed in like a parking lot. If you get hungry and don't want to go out, order pizza from Calico's, they were great! We will stay here again...

We're not professional RV-ers, having only rented RVs twice before. This must be high season, because they're absolutely full. Great facilities, including laundy room, heated pool, jacuzzis, fitness room and poolside shower/bathroom/changing rooms (spotlessly clean). We could use the bathroom/shower in the RV, but their shower/bathroom facility is better even if you have to walk out of your RV. Dog-friendly with a fenced in dog park. Our two dogs had a great time....Also has golf course, but we don't play.

I have been so pleased with the level of customer service I've received at The Springs. The staff is really helpful and friendly; you feel like your happiness there is a priority. The folks at the desk in the pro shop chatted amicably with me before and after hitting balls and one employee drove me over to the workout room and gave me an orientation after I merely asked where it was. The Springs offers events frequently, such as wine socials, live music, luaus, and golf tournaments and all at a very reasonable price. There is never a dull moment. The pool, jacuzzi--several of the hot tubs consist of hot mineral water--and work out room were great. The pool and hot tubs look out on the golf course past palm trees toward the Santa Rosa Mountains. It's really serene and pleasant. The restrooms, which also contain showers, are very clean and private. (They're one-person facilities.) Overall, I just have really felt like the customer service and facilities at the Springs have been excellent during my visits there. I highly recommend it!
