“One of the best happy hours”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

My second time at Romesco's. The place is in a strip mall which from outside doesn't look like much but once you walk in, it's a very classy place. Next door they have the bar for happy hour which plays music videos and it's more laid back. On this visit, we tried a few more things, tacos dorados, torta sliders with the short rib, the pulpo asado and the calamari. All very delicious and seasoned to perfection. For dessert we had the Decadence dessert, a warm chocolate lava cake with chocolate ice cream or you can switch it for vanilla. It's so warm and rich, one of the best desserts I've ever tried and I'm not a huge fan of chocolate desserts.
I love the concept of this restaurant, you have Mexican food along with Meditarranean. They have an ample selection of wines/champagnes. And not to mention the excellent service from Diego, Juan and Hector. They are constantly checking on you and making sure you are taken care of. This is what true service is all about. Can't wait to go back.

“Great happy hour with 1/2 price tapas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

Small restaurant in a strip mall. The decor is very well done and the bar area is a nice place to sit at. The bar tender was friendly and the service was good. the 1/2 price tapas are a deal. The brined garlic cloves were a surprise. Not at all like garlic. The crab and lobster stuffed piquillo peppers were very good. The king top shelf escabeche with chimichurri sauce was similar to calamari. I'm not a fan of chimichurri sauce but this was mild and had more olive oil and lemon flavor. The beef carpaccio had both olive oil and balsamic vinegar which matched up perfectly with the beef. Definitely worth a visit at happy hour.

“It's a fun, classy place.”

I have only great experiences there and will always go back when I get a chance. If you want a fun evening with friends and Tapas or a quiet intimate dinner, this is the place.

“Great meal and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

I'm not sure I'd call it Mexican. In fact, I wouldn't... it's closer to Spanish - Mediterranean. Two of us enjoyed a Groupon deal - 4 tapas and 2 drinks. The tapas were wonderful, and more than enough for the entire meal. Could only squeeze in a creme brûlée for desert! We'll be back to try the main menu - which also looked intriguing...
