Description: Great food, friendly service and spectacular views await you at Lucas Wharf Restaurant in Bodega Bay. We are a waterfront seafood restaurant on the beautiful Sonoma Coast, about 1-1/2 hours north of San Francisco and just minutes away from the wine country. We have a cozy lounge with a fireplace and a patio for outside dining. From your dinner table you might see the local fishermen unloading their catch on our dock while sea lions play in the water below and pelicans sail by overhead. We offer a large selection of seafood choices, plus steaks, pastas and vegetarian options. We have several unique signature dishes (calamari!) And delicious, seasonal dinner specials. We have a full bar and proudly feature premium Sonoma County wines and local draft beers. So, for either a romantic sunset dinner, a quick bite on your way through town or after a lazy day at the beach with the kids, visit Lucas Wharf Restaurant, family owned and operated since 1984.

“Nice view, expensive”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

This is your typical tourist trap seafood restaurant. Keep going for better places in town. The restaurant is large, open and noisy. Service is not too good. We had the clam chowder which was actually pretty good. It was thick, but not overly thick. A bowl was $8 which included oyster crackers! Also had the Blackened Red Snapper which was poor. Came with French Fries that were soggy. That cost $13. However the portion was large.

Had a nice dinner here with a view of the water. Fish and chips were very good. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

“Wonderful Fish”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Since it was getting dark early, we did not want to travel far, so went to Lucas Wharf Restaurant. I have to say, I had a Greek Rock Fish dinner that is up on my top 10 of fish dinners, and have many in many places during my life. The dish was very lightly seasoned, and flakey, not overwhelming Greek flavors, and a generous portion. My husband has the small portion of Petrale Sole, with a light sauce and it also was excellent. I thought the fish was extremely fresh, and nice atmosphere.

“nothing special”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

Food was pedestrian and nothing to write home about. Chowder was so salty I could have used it to remove ice from my front steps.

“Enjoyed the Seafood”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

We were here during an overnight stay. We had the fish and chips and the snapper meals and they were both plentiful and flavorful.
