Having suffered some recent somewhat debilitating health issues, we were seeking a refuge not too far from home where we could "hide" for a while. Having driven by "The Mansion" several times, we decided to give it try. Jackpot!
The "mi casa es su casa" welcome attitude and atmosphere exuded by hosts Gina and Chris and their 2 wonderfully trained dogs makes one immediately feel like "one of the family". The rooms, actually small suites, are bright, cheerful and very well provided with neat old furnishings. However, don't let the age deceive you as the beds (mattresses) themselves are luxuriant and covered with the best linen available. Breakfasts? Beyond compare with most imaginative creations. Service extended by our hosts was well and above that normally encountered. Will we go back? Absolutely!! Thank you Gina and Chris, Buttercup and Loki (SP?)More
