“worth the wait”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

The place is little more than a store front with a half dozen picnic tables outside. There is usually a line to order food, but it's worth the wait, We ordered one crab sandwich, one shrimp sandwich and one clam chowder. The crab and shrimp were abundant, sweet and fresh, the roll was soft but there was nothing else on the sandwich. Tip: get some cute little bottles of tobascco sauce to spice it up a little. Next time I will probably get the crab or shrimp cocktail. The clam chowder was different than any I've tasted before. Loaded with good flavors, but a little too much garlic for me. Everyone was friendly and there was a man outside singing and playing the guitar. If the tables are full, or in the shade, walk across the street to the marina and near the marina building are additional picnic benches (in the sun). We'd go there again. After you eat keep driving and go out to Bodega Head for a little stroll and nice view.

“Great chowder on a cold morning”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

This is THE place to go for yummy, hot chowder on a cold morning. Tables are outdoors, so dress warmly and prepare your taste buds for a treat. Thick & creamy soup with just the right amount of seasoning.

“Tasty but cheap chowder”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

The Chowder is ok.... But is way overpriced for canned clams and a recipe based on dried potato soup .... And cream... No choices for other fare also... Crackers are the only extras
A much better deal on chowders and fresh BBQ oysters is next door at the Fishermans Cove...with Dynamite Garlic butter French bread... Fish a Tacos... Ect.......more ....and better quality

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Hate to tell more people about this gem since it is already crowded, but if you like lump crab, crab sandwich, or clam chowder, this is your spot. We hit this place as often as possible when in town. Seating is outdoor and very limited. They're open 9 - 5, consider getting your stuff early and taking it up the hill to Bodega Point for a picnic overlooking the ocean.

“Unique, great food”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

We sought out this place based on trip advisor recommendations. It was very good food but you had to go across the street to another place to use the bathroom. Plus all seating was outside, although that is where we wanted to sit anyway. A little hard to find on the West side of the bay but a great little place to stop.
