“Owners treated us like family.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2010

We stayed 4 nights here because of a vehicle breakdown. We stayed another night on our return trip because we really like the place. The owners were so good to us that we felt like family, even shuttling us since we didn't have a vehicle. The pool area is beautiful sourounded by palm trees with tables and even a barbecue. Pool and hot tub are very clean and a great place to wind down a travel day. The only downside might be the continental breakfast without many choices.

Requested a NS room. It smelled smoky and the front desk wanted to spray it for us. I said that wasn't acceptable. We were moved to RM#103. It was NS. The motel is old and the decor outdated. The carpet is old and was very dirty. It was a shabby place. Breakfast selection was lacking. The bed was not comfortable. The motel was fairly quiet. The shower was good. The restaurant next door has very tough pork chops although you get alot of food. The potatoes were still frozen. I would not recommend eating there.

We had to select a motel in Blythe about 24 hours in advance of being there. We were surprised at the overall quality of the place. Everything worked and it was quiet. The immediate area does not look great but the motel is fine. Very professional staff at front desk. Restaurant on the grounds has a variety of food.

Price was a little high for this category of motel.

We stopped in Blythe because that was our midpoint for our trip, and stayed in the Days Inn. We stayed in room #105. Not only did the town itself look unsafe, but the the safety lock that is at the top of the door had obviously been replaced due to the door being knocked/kicked in previously. (you can see on the door where it was broken in). On top of this the room smelled of foul lingering flatulence. I couldn't sleep because I was not comfortable and had to keep checking on our car. We did not stay for the "free" breakfast. I recommend NEVER stopping here, I would advise that you organize your trip in a way that allows you to drive right past this dump of a town, and stay the night where you feel safer.

Booked the hotel via Priceline. The rooms are a bit old but reasonably clean. The included breakfast is nothing fancy. We didn't take it. All in all perhaps one of the best options in Blythe. Certainly for the price.

This hotel was exactly what I expected. Basic, but pleasant enough.

Don't expect frill, but expect to have a clean room, with internet, a basic breakfast and a nice pool to relax in.

Not much else to say really - you won't be disappointed by this good value for money Days Inn...enjoy!

The desk clerk was extremely courteous. The room was fine. Air conditioner worked well. The swimming pool was refreshing in the102 degree desert heat. The continental breakfast was decent. Blythe itself isn't much to write home about. Had an expensive and mediocre meal in the local Sizzler. The Days Inn is perfectly adequate to spend a night when passing through Blythe.
