“Nice, clean rooms and helpful staff!”

Older style hotel that has been renovated. Very clean room. Staff was incredible. Breakfast was great! Pool was nice!

Thank you for taking the time to review your last stay at the Best Western Sahara. Guest satisfaction is our number one goal and to hear nothing but positive things about the front desk staff and housekeepers is what we strive for. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed our hot breakfast and made use of the pool area as well. We are looking forward to your next trip through Blythe and hope to see you then!

We looked this place over on our way west to LA from Phoenix and made a reservation for the way back. Great stopping point as this motel is very clean and updated for an older place. Rates were reasonable and the free breakfast was very nice. We would stay again!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are in an arc around an outdoor pool

My parents had stayed here and said that it was nice - it was clean and the complimentary breakfast was good. It actually went well beyond that...

At a very affordable rate, our kids stayed free, the room was immaculate, linens smelled fresh and clean, beds were comfortable, the room was well-appointed (including a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker), a/c & heating worked well, and the front desk staff was pleasant. The complimentary breakfast is listed as a continental breakfast, but it was all-you-can eat with scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, yogurt, make-your-own waffles, cereals, bagels & cream cheese, toast & jelly, juice, milk, coffee - available from 5 to 10am. Very friendly breakfast staff.

For other meals, there are several local restaurant options, but many close before 9 pm. So instead we ordered pizza from Pizza Hut and that worked out great for us.

Auto Club discounts are available. Check online rates through Best Western for the best pricing.

Room Tip: This is a single-story facility, and all rooms are the same (except possibly for rooms with handicap...

I was surprised that Blythe was fairly attractive. It wasn't the normal dusty, sand filled town that I had been passing. Motel Sahara was an oasis of green. I was able to park my car in front of my room for safety. The pool was a short walk across from my room. Many business people were checking in. I took that as a good sign. The room was large and comfortable with a work station and a large comfortable chair. The TV was easy to work. The bathroom was set up perfect for two people (tub and toilet together) sink and vanity together. I had a wonderful peaceful night of sleep. The breakfast was real eggs, waffles, cereal, real coffee, juice. It was simple, but real food, not that plastic wrapped sweet roll so often offered. I probably won't take that route again, but I were, I would again stay at Sahara.

Located along the busy Los Angeles to Phoenix I-10 highway, I expected this hotel to be just so-so but even though it is a one story low rise hotel, the staff were more than eager to help. I was able to get extra towels, assistance with restaurants and stores as well as internet help. There are wireless internet boxes in each room, the room was equipped with clean bedding and did not look worn at all even the hotel has been there for some time. I checked in during the day and was almost the only client until after sunset when the hotel filled up overnight. My centrally located room was basically quiet even though I could hear one snoring person next door off and on. The A/C was situated near the bathroom rather than the one window closest to the door and it heated the room easily without some of the usual smells that accompany those type of units. They adivsed that gasoline was 50 cents higher than on the Arizona side of the border just 4 miles away and this was helpful to know. You cannot get into the lobby after dark to use their inhouse PC which was a little disappointing since I could not print my boarding pass, but then given its location, I expect security is important.

Room Tip: Rooms are about the same level of comfort throughout the complex.

First off, I'm kind of surprised at some of the previous comments about the staff. I found the front desk and breakfast staff all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were what we expect of a Best Western--attractive, roomy, well-maintained, and clean. There is only one story, so there's no suitcase rumbling or footsteps above to disturb the quiet. The breakfast was good. It was a good value, and I would return.

Good rooms, take pets, nice location after long drive.

Quietness depends on neighbors, but most folks are traveling and some get up early to start the next day's drive.
