Stopped in off the highway on a road trip. It was a Sunday so it was hoppin. This is a blast from the past. The old time swivel seats at the counter, the lime green and flowered wallpaper in the bathroom, the booths with duct tape on the seats all original. This place needs lots of work but this place has character and all the locals come in here. The dining room area is small and they have booths along the window. The breakfast was pretty generic but good, it was what we needed to keep us going on the road. The omelet was ok the French toast was ok, was interesting to get a bowl of shaved cheese. Being a coffee shop it was tough getting coffee refills. They needed more staff and someone walking around with coffee all the time. The staff they had worked their tails off and very friendly.
